Dina King Bray was a long time supporter and volunteer at UNC Lineberger. In fact, Dina (pronounced DI-nah) was a UNC supporter in all things! In her work life, she spent 35 years with UNC Hospitals as a computer programmer in Information Technology. In her social life, she was an avid Tar Heel supporter who enjoyed spending Saturday afternoons in Kenan Stadium cheering on the UNC football team and attending Carolina Baseball games with her family. After retiring from UNC Health Care, Dina enjoyed spending days helping to care for her two young grandsons, Griffin and Joe.
Dina grew up in a military family and lived all over the country but spent her adult life in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her husband, Joe, and daughter, Christy. She will always be remembered as someone who lived to help others and found her greatest pleasure in serving those around her. She loved her church and worked tirelessly behind the scenes in a variety of roles. Although tiny in stature, Dina was a giant presence in the lives of all who knew her.
